A family home holds much more than belongings.
Leaving a family home can be deeply emotional. This is one of the groups I most enjoy working with, and our conversations sometimes begin a year or two before a sale. You can explore possibilities without committing to a moving date.
Move at your own pace.
One partner may welcome a change while the other needs more time. I listen to both. We begin with what you would like to keep about your life and what you would like to change.
Choose how you want to live.
Stay near friends, move closer to family or try somewhere altogether different. If travel is a priority, we consider maintenance and arrangements while you are away, alongside access to the places you enjoy.
Keep the space that matters.
A smaller home can still have a generous dining room, beautiful light and room for grandchildren. We consider the rooms you use, guests you host and the layout that will serve you over time, including stairs and access from the garage.
Make the move manageable.
Sorting belongings can feel overwhelming. I can introduce help with organisation, estate sales, property preparation and moving. We plan the work gradually and coordinate the sale with your search, supported by the relevant professionals.
