A different way to call Springbank home.
When families tell me they would love to live in Springbank but are drawn to a newer home, Harmony is a community I encourage them to explore. The lake is a considerable part of its appeal, alongside the opportunity to become part of a neighbourhood that is still taking shape.
I find it particularly appealing for young families who want recreation close to home and opportunities to get to know their neighbours. It is worth spending time here to imagine the ordinary week, as well as the summer days by the water.
New construction or a home already settled in.
Harmony offers the possibility of buying a brand new home or exploring an earlier phase with a more established feel. Townhomes, duplexes, detached houses and estate homes give buyers several ways to approach life here.
The choice is as much about timing and setting as it is about finishes. We can compare available resale homes with new construction, look at the layout and garden, and understand what is still planned around a particular property. A community growing in phases will feel different from street to street.
Plan around the school day.
School planning belongs early in the conversation. Harmony’s published school guide identifies Elbow Valley Elementary, Springbank Middle School and Springbank Community High School. Before choosing a home, confirm the current designation, programme and transport arrangements for its address with Rocky View Schools.
A school within Harmony remains a future plan, with land reserved in the community. Nearby Edge School is an independent option combining academics with athletic development, with its own admissions process.
